Booking a session with Alani
Alani has been practising hands-on body therapies for over 22 years. Throughout this time, she has explored and studied a range of modalities, weaving them together to create an intuitive and integrated approach to Craniosacral Therapy.
There are many ways to meet the body and support its natural capacity to heal, release tension and restore a sense of freedom in body and mind and spirit .
Each of these approaches offers a different pathway into the body, guided by the understanding that our physical, emotional and nervous systems are deeply interconnected.
You can explore these different approaches below to learn more about how Alani works.

Restoring Balance to Body, Mind & Nervous System
Restoring Balance to Body, Mind & Nervous System
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle yet profound hands-on approach to working with the body, the nervous system and the subtle rhythms of life within us.
Through sensitive touch and deep listening, Craniosacral Therapy works with the body's natural movements and rhythms, supporting its inherent intelligence and capacity for balance and self-regulation.
Our bodies are constantly responding and adapting to the experiences of our lives. Physical injuries, emotional stress, illness and trauma can influence how we move, breathe, feel and function.
Craniosacral Therapy offers an opportunity to release tension, restore ease and support the body's natural healing processes.
The Far-Reaching Nature of Craniosacral Therapy
One of my greatest passions is helping people understand just how deeply interconnected the human body is, and the wide range of health concerns that can be explored through Craniosacral Therapy.
Over the years, I have witnessed profound changes in people receiving this work. Clients have shared experiences of relief from longstanding pain, improvements in their sleep, greater emotional stability and a renewed sense of wellbeing.

Craniosacral Therapy is so much more than an opportunity to relax. It is a gentle yet deeply attentive approach to working with the body, recognising the intimate relationships between our structure, nervous system, organs, emotions and overall health.
The craniosacral system includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Cerebrospinal fluid plays an essential role in protecting and nourishing the central nervous system.
The nervous system itself is involved in nearly every aspect of our physiology, including digestion, breathing, sleep, immune responses and hormonal regulation. These systems are in constant communication, influencing and responding to one another.
I am particularly interested in these relationships and how Craniosacral Therapy may support the body as a whole, rather than approaching each symptom in isolation.

What Can Craniosacral Therapy Help With?
In my practice, I work with people experiencing a wide range of physical, emotional and nervous system challenges, including:
* Back and neck pain, headaches and migraines
* Jaw tension, teeth grinding and TMJ dysfunction
* Vertigo, dizziness and tinnitus
* Chronic pain, injuries and inflammation
* Anxiety, stress, trauma and emotional overwhelm
* Burnout, fatigue and sleep disturbances
* Digestive and gut-related concerns
* Hormonal changes and fertility-related concerns
* Autoimmune conditions and chronic health challenges
People seek Craniosacral Therapy for many reasons, and individual experiences and outcomes vary. For many of these conditions, its effectiveness as a treatment has not yet been established through clinical research.
A Space for Deeper Healing
Sometimes the most profound changes begin when we are given the space to become still.
As the body settles, we may become aware of deeper patterns of tension, emotion and holding that have developed through our life experiences.
Craniosacral Therapy offers a space to explore these patterns gently, without force or expectation.
I am passionate about sharing both the science of the human body and the insights gained through years of hands-on clinical experience. My hope is to broaden people's understanding of this remarkable work and the possibilities it offers.
At its heart, Craniosacral Therapy is about listening to the body, honouring its intelligence and supporting our capacity for change.
An invitation to reconnect with ourselves and discover a deeper sense of balance, vitality and wellbeing.
